Our school provides a full and broad curriculum in line with the National Curriculum. We believe children learn best when they are actively involved in their learning and so plan many educational visits and visitors to support the curriculum.
Religious Education follows the Manchester Diocesan scheme. As this is a Church of England Aided School we aim to create a Christian ethos in the school, which is reflected in both the assemblies and the Religious Education. An important part of our school day is a daily act of collective worship. This brings together the whole school community for a simple service.
We place great emphasis on the importance of personal and social development and the skills needed by children in their future education and in the modern world. Our curriculum and teacher's attitudes are aimed at giving your child every opportunity to maximise his/her abilities and to develop his/her intellectual, social, physical and moral potential. There is a sufficient variety of subjects taught by enthusiastic teachers for your child to find interest and enjoyment in learning.
